Naso-Pharyngo-LaryngoScope
A
miniature color CCD is built into the distal tip of
the ultra-slim (3.7mm), flexible scope, and the
VNL-1170K allows full screen display of
high-resolution images. The control unit has been
redesigned for ease of use. Stroboscopic observation
of the vocal cords is possible with a strobe light
source. The VNL-1170K can be combined with the
EPK-1000 color video processor to produce a compact naso-pharyngoscopic system.

Full-Screen Display of Image from a Miniature,
High-Resolution Color CCD
The VNL-1170K
system allows the powerful display of full-screen
images. The bright, sharp images, obtained from a
miniature, high-resolution color CCD, can be
displayed to fill the entire monitor. The images are
bright and easily seen, even at a distance from the
monitor.
Stroboscopic Observation Capability
The power connector and
light source connectors have been separated in the
VNL-1170K. Stroboscopic observation is useful in the
diagnosis of vocal cord lesions and can be
performed simply by connecting the light source
connector to a strobe light source.

Control Unit Designed for Ease of Use
The grip has
been redesigned for better control, and is now
lightweight and fits comfortably in the hand. The
position and shape of the angle lever and remote
control buttons facilitate easy operation with
fingertip control.
Advanced Cleaning and Sterilization Features
The control
unit is easy to clean and designed to minimize the
number of sites that accumulate contaminants and
moisture. All flexible rubber stoppers are shielded,
preventing the entry of contaminants and moisture.
